After the
recording of the No Preservatives the band
had planned to release an EP of Beatles covers recorded during the Autumn
of 1989, the sessions where disastrous and chaotic, ( Warwick left in disgust),
so the project was shelved. The songs, Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club
Band, Twist and Shout, I Wanna Be Your Man' and ' I Saw Her
Standing There', would later resurface on the Krap
And Unreleased compilation in 1991. The group descended in to acrimony
and infighting and wouldn't get back together until April 1990. In the mean
time John Crewdson recorded two new albums. The first, 'Lived On No Devil'
featured collaborations with Mark Chatburn and was released on March 29th
1990.
