Between the demise of the 'live' Hirundu and the release of The Dune Buggy Attack Battalion L.P. John had formed Golf Harris with Paul Burke and Riccardo Terranova. Dune Buggy saw another change in direction, this time into Electro- Funk -Pop. 'Cheezy Nimrod' is like one of those annoying Euro-Dance numbers, 'Unitone Hi-Fi' has a speaker shredding base line that sounds like it could damage brick work along with the unique rhythms of 'Jah Mustard' and the nightmarish 'Odessa', this instrumental album combines experimentalism with lo-fi dancability.
